Jonathan Fishman is an ENT Consultant with a dedicated interest in laryngology, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Honorary Clinical Lecturer for University College London. He graduated with a First Class Honours Pre-Clinical Medical Sciences degree from the University of Cambridge and completed his clinical training at Oxford. He completed his ENT Registrar training in London North Thames and Oxford.
He was awarded a PhD from UCL in 2013 and has received numerous personal research fellowships, most notably from the Medical Research Council, the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Sparks Children’s Charity and the Academy of Medical Sciences. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on basic scientific advances in stem cells applications for laryngology.
He is an elected member of the British Laryngological Association (BLA) Council, a position he has held since 2015 and Senior Editor for the Journal of Laryngology & Otology (Cambridge University Press).
